Tiny games that glow.

Small enough to finish. Bright enough to share. Strange enough to remember.

Under the lamp

Two free demos. Two more on the way.

Each demo runs on a phone or a desktop, needs no install, and fits in a single file. Play them, then tell me what you think.

CHAINBLOOM: a round jar of glowing motes, a chain of flowers blooming outward from one tap
Demo

CHAINBLOOM

One tap. Everything blooms.

Release a spark into a jar of light. Every mote it touches blooms into a flower and lights its neighbours. Between rounds, change what's in your jar and bend the rules with catalysts, then survive eight nights to dawn. There's a new Daily Bloom jar every day, the same for everyone.

BUGDUNNIT: a night porch seen from above with bugs placed on tiles, and a list of witness statements, some ticked green
Demo

BUGDUNNIT

Something happened at the porch light. Work out who was where.

Drag the suspects onto a night porch until every witness statement is true, and the arrangement points to the culprit. Every case is generated, has exactly one answer, and never needs a guess. Tonight's Case is free every night, and the demo includes the first six nights of Case Files.

About

A moth circling a lamp at 2 a.m.

Mothlamp is the tiny-games label of Low Revolution, a solo developer in Ireland. Low Revolution makes bigger games like Hell is Neon Colored. Mothlamp is where the small ideas go.

The brief is in the name: make something people can't stop looking at, and keep it small enough to finish. Each game starts from something people already love to do, then changes one thing they didn't expect.

Everything is made by hand in plain web code. The light and sound are generated as you play, there are no art or audio files, and each game is a single page you can open anywhere.

Small enough to finish

One verb per game. If it takes more than a minute to explain, it's two games.

Bright enough to share

Every game has its own share moment: a daily seed, a dare link, a result you can paste.

Strange enough to remember

Familiar enough to pick up, odd enough to talk about.
